Delft University of Technology

Delft University of Technology or Technische Universiteit Delft (TU Delft) is one of the best technical universities in the world. It is among the top 20 in the world based on technology category according to the 2008 Times Higher Education ranking system. It is also a member of IDEA League that consists of four top technical universities in Europe, which are Imperial College London, RWTH Aachen, ETH Zurich, and TU Delft. Located in the small beautiful town of Delft, The Netherlands, the university was built in 1842 and ever since it became the most prestigious technical university in the country. Currently, it has more than 13000 students, 2000 scientists including 200 professors. There are eight faculties in TU Delft. TU Delft is very strong in many field of expertises including architecture, civil engineering, robotics, solar energy, aeronautics, chemical engineering, biotechnology and nanotechnology.

  2. yeah TU Delft is highly ranked in eng. here in europe & around the world. I have to get there for civil eng.

    Is there any scholarship for international students?

  4. Delft is beautiful city indeed. I had an opportunity to visit Delft last November, unfortunately it was only for short trip and I didn’t have a chance to visit TU Delft.
